Shimla to Manali by private car & driver
10 days | 9 nights | from $1979 USD
TOUR OVERVIEW
This tour is a wonderful combination of scenery, culture and colonial history in the cool mountains of Himachal Pradesh. Starting in Chandigarh, you will see the famous Le Corbusier, Capitol Complex Unesco Site, travel the Toy Train from Kalka up to Shimla and then on to Manali and the glaciers and lakes in the Himalayas.
This tour encompasses the cultural and scenic highlights of Shimla - a destination for the British colonials to escape the hot summers of the India plains. Nestled in the Himalayas at an elevation of more than 7000 feet above sea level, the hill station gives a glimpse into life during the British Raj. Restaurants, serving traditional Himachali food, and those specializing in Western-style delicacies are also great places to see this rich cultural contrast. At night, you can gaze at the endless expanse of stars in the clear sky for a dream-like experience.
